WHAT IS AIRBRUSH TANNING?

Airbrush tanning is the process of applying a micro-fine mist of tanning solution to your body using a spray gun or HVLP (high volume, low pressure) system. The solution goes on smoothly without streaking. This method is different from spray booths, as it is applied by hand to your body through our trained technicians. Airbrush tanning gives you a healthy glow without the damage associated with UVrays.  The tanning solution naturally changes the color of the body’s existing dead layer of skin cells and reacts to the proteins in the outermost layer of the skin. Sunless tanning is purely topical and is not absorbed into the body. The amino acids in the skin will respond naturally to the DHA and other complementary ingredients in the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you’ve ever seen.  The main ingredient in the sunless tanning product is known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a simple nontoxic sugar. It is often derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is FDA approved
