A great spray tan is part technique, part experience—and if you’ve been coming to Après Soleil for a while, you know the person holding the spray gun matters just as much as the shade you choose.
Our team knows how to customize a tan, troubleshoot your prep, tell you exactly when to rinse, and make a 30-minute appointment feel like catching up with a friend.
So, we thought it was time for a proper introduction.
Meet Jenny, Riley, Addie, and Jenna—the women behind the glow at Après Soleil Tans.
Jenny | Owner + Founder
Jenny started Après Soleil Tans out of her home 13 years ago. In 2014, she moved the business into its first commercial space, followed by a move into our current studio in 2016.
Favorite part of the job:
“The clients. We have the best clients. Over the years, I have met so many incredible men and women, each with their own passions and struggles, and I continue to be surprised by how much you can connect with someone in a 30-minute appointment.”
Jenny’s #1 spray tan tip:
Moisturize twice a day after your tan, and make sure you’re using a moisturizer that supports your spray tan rather than ingredients that can break it down.
Her Après Soleil favorites:
Jenny’s favorite solution is our Clear option, which is completely bronzer-free. Her favorite add-on is the Hydration Mist because she finds it helps her tan last an extra two to three days.
And the product she uses every single day? Spray Studio Got Me Whipped Shea Butter Lotion. It’s unscented, made with high-quality ingredients, and keeps her dry skin moisturized whether she has a spray tan or not.

She once spent four hours inside the jail at Disneyland.

Riley | Spray Tan Artist
Riley has been part of the Après Soleil team for a little over four years.
Favorite part of the job:
“Building connections with people while helping them feel more confident in their skin, no pun intended.”
Riley’s #1 spray tan tip:
If you know you have a spray tan coming up, moisturize like crazy the week of your appointment. Hydrated skin gives your artist a better canvas and can help your tan develop and fade more evenly.
Her Après Soleil favorite:
Don’t make Riley choose just one add-on. She gets all three every time she gets a spray tan.
Always on her playlist:
“Fly” by Sugar Ray or “By Your Side” by Sade.
Something you probably don't know about Riley:
She tried fried rice for the first time this year.
She is 22.

Addie | Spray Tan Artist
Addie has been part of the Après Soleil team for almost a year.
Favorite part of the job:
“My favorite part is creating a positive experience for every client who walks through the door. I love making people feel comfortable during their appointment and helping them achieve a tan that makes them feel beautiful and confident.”
Addie’s #1 spray tan tip:
Shave the day before your appointment rather than immediately beforehand. Giving your pores time to close can help create a smoother-looking tan and prevent that little dotted appearance that can happen when you shave too close to your appointment.
Her Après Soleil favorite:
AYU Finishing Powder, especially during the summer. It helps protect a fresh spray tan before your first rinse and is particularly helpful when the weather is hot and sweating is harder to avoid.
Always on her playlist:
“Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.
Something you probably don't know about Addie:
She has a completely irrational fear of spiders.
“If I see one, my entire day is ruined.”

Jenna | Spray Tan Artist
Jenna is our newest artist and joined Après Soleil in May.
Favorite part of the job:
“Getting to meet all the wonderful clients and chat with them about the fun plans they’re getting tanned for!”
Jenna’s #1 spray tan tip:
Come in with a clean canvas. That means no leftover self-tanner or old spray tan, and definitely no oils lingering on your skin from a massage right before your appointment.
Clean, properly prepped skin helps your artist get the most even application possible and sets you up for a gorgeous, longer-lasting tan.
Her Après Soleil favorite:
As a self-described “sweaty girl,” Jenna swears by finishing powder after a tan. It helps minimize micro-sweating before your rinse, feels soft on the skin, and smells amazing.
Always on her playlist:
“Sugar Daddy” by Devon Cole.
Something you probably don't know about Jenna:
She is a reality TV addict. Give her a ridiculous plot and enough drama and she will binge every episode.
